Right now my book is in the final stage of production. Lots of small formatting details need to be corrected such as bullet point alignments, some pages not starting on a new right-side page, and the cover image slightly off-center. Sigh.

However, I do appreciate my time off in the past 2 weeks.

How to Upskill With Stakeholders

Most data professionals lack focus on stakeholders.

They ask:

"How can I learn AI?"

"How can I learn ML and stats?"

"How can I upskill with projects?"

"How can I design a modern data stack at my company?"

"How can I get stakeholders to use this new tool we bought?"

When they should ask:

"How can I help my stakeholders most?"

"How can I build relationships with my stakeholders?"

"How can I create trust through regular communication?"

"How can I make myself useful to my stakeholders and my team?"

"How can I help my stakeholders to solve business problems and increase profit?"

Take the focus off yourself.

Put that focus on your stakeholders.

Try to be as useful as possible.

The more you listen, the more value you'll deliver.
